The Annual Meeting of SHARE project was held on March 20, 2017, at TRaction Conference room, Icddr,b. The meeting was planned and organized by icddr,b in collaboration with University College London (UCL), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Bangladesh. This was meant primarily to get a shared understanding of how activities are contributing to evidence-informed public health policy-making in line with the work plan and what opportunities exist to improve alignment and coordination with affiliate partners in 2017.
The objective of the annual meeting was to recognize achievements, identify gaps and weaknesses, and strategize ways to maximize alignment with work plan priorities and project objectives. This served following purposes: a) Strategic and operational planning to strengthen collaboration; and b) Reflection and brainstorming on the work plan for 2017.
