In collaboration with Planning, Monitoring and Research Unit (PMR) of DGHS, the project organized two research dissemination workshops in 2018. One was titled “Perceptions and experiences with suing DHIS2 to collect and utilize health data in Bangladesh” held in October 2018. Its discussions focused on prospects and challenges of using DHIS2 data towards evidence informed policy making process. The other one titled “Testing the feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of a participatory stakeholder monitoring and feedback approach in improving the quality of Maternal and Neonatal Healthcare (MNH) in urban for profit private sector facilities in Bangladesh” organized in December 2018. This paper focused on the case of MNH sector; however, an emphasis was on data systems also for better service deliveries in the context of urban Bangladesh. The senior officials of DGHS participated in both of the seminars.
