Description of activities:

The daylong HMIS workshop was started with registration and inaugural session. The inaugural session was chaired by Dr. Md. Raushan Anwar, Director Health, Khulna Division. Then Dr. Abdus Salam, Chief MIS, DGHS presented the agenda of the meeting. After that Mr. Osi Mong, HMIS Consultant, UNICEF presented the Overall HMIS situation of Division (Reporting, health indicators). Mr. Sukhendu Shekhar Roy, System Analyst presented some current issues of MIS, DGHS like improving the DLI indicators. He also said that overall internet issues in the field will be solved soon. After that, all district managers along with statistician presented their dashboard using DHIS2 and interpreted data. At the end of the workshop Mr. Mohammad Saiful Islam, Senior Programmer, icddr,b presented and oriented on DHIS2 e-learning course. In that session, most of the users have been registered on the course and came to know how to appear in the quiz and final exam and how to get the certificate on this course. Dr. Iqbal Anwar, project director and scientist, icddr,b was present in the workshop and provide his valuable feedback throughout the session.
