A two-day workshop was organized by MIS, DGHS with key stakeholders supporting strengthening divisional MIS for Chittagong division from 30 March to 31 March, 2016 in Zilla Parishad, Chittagong from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. The workshop was supported by DGHS, UNICEF, GIZ and EU-supported project ‘Strengthening capacities of national health authorities and icddr,b for better health policies and strategies for improved outcomes’, icddr,b.

The main objectives of this workshop were as follows:
1. To increase district health managers’ capacity of use and interpretation of data using District Health Information System 2 ( DHIS2)
2. Increase efficiency of district health managers and statistician to create their own Dashboard in the DHIS2 with charts, pivot tables and GIS maps according their local needs to monitor progress of programs/activities.
3. Improve monitoring to check data entry at each level of health system, data completeness and quality
4. Enhance relationship among managers and statistician to improve health data quality, increase use of their own data for local level monitoring, management and decision making.
